Steven W. Eichenauer is a partner at PSW, where
he directs the firm’s appropriations practice and provides
strategic advice to clients in the areas of international
trade and the environment.
From 1999 to 2005, Eichenauer served
as Appropriations Manager and Legislative Assistant to
U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI).
He developed the Senator’s local, state, and national
appropriations requests and managed the Senator's Appropriations
Committee responsibilities. Eichenauer also served as senior
advisor to Senator Reed in the areas of energy, environment,
science and technology, agriculture, homeland security, and
commercial fisheries.
Prior to joining Senator Reed’s staff, Eichenauer
served as international trade lobbyist and senior policy
analyst at
PSW for nearly four years, working closely with the Economic
Ministry of Mexico, the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce,
and PSW’s other corporate and governmental clients.
From 1989 to 1993, Eichenauer served as Program Officer
at the Texas
International Education Consortium, where he directed academic
and professional training programs for businesspeople and
educators from Latin America and Asia.
Eichenauer received
his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at
Austin in 1988 and received a Master of Public
Affairs degree from the University’s Lyndon B. Johnson
School of Public Affairs in 1995. Eichenauer is fluent
in Spanish. |
